On Monday afternoon, Regan Arts announced that they had bought the publishing rights to Ronda Rousey's upcoming book, scheduled for a 2015 release.
"Ronda Rousey has been victorious in life because he has heart, strength, discipline, and a sense of conviction," Regan Arts CEO Judith Regan stated.
The book will be written by Rousey's sister, Maria Burns Ortiz, who is a sports journalist and co-founder of 7 Generation Games.
According to the press release, the book is an "honest, thought-provoking" look at Rousey's trajectory through professional competition, as well as advice on winning, training and relationships. Apparently, Ortiz burned the tapes following the completion of the book.
"Everyone has their own fight," Rousey stated in a press release. "Through my journey to become the greatest fighter in the cage, I learned the concepts to conquer every battle outside of it. Hopefully readers can learn the same lessons I did -- without having to take as many punches in the face."
"My Fight/Your Fight" is scheduled for publishing in May 2015.
