The Venetian Ballroom in Macau was host to a pre-fight press conference on Thursday evening to promote the upcoming boxing title bout between Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri. Among the attendees were the two headliners, along with the PPV card fighters Zou Shiming, Kwanpichit Onesongchaigym, Vasyl Lomachenko, Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo, Antonio DeMarco and Jessie Vargas.
Bob Arum led the preser, with coaches Freddie Roach, Tim Lane, Roy Jones Jr. and special guest Jermaine Jackson were also in attendance.
Among the highlights during the press conference was Pacquiao promising that his speed, explosiveness, and aggression from his younger days are back, while his opponent's camp says this weekend will be a 'welcome to the Algieri Show'. Shiming's Thai opponent in Kwanpichit also drew some laughs, as he posed next to the headliners after it was pointed out that he looked a lot like Pacquiao.
