Former Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Sarah Kaufman will likely be meeting a short-notice opponent at UFC Fight Night 27 on August 28th. Why? Because opponent Sara McMann was forced out of the bout according to MMA Junkie:
UFC women's bantamweight Sara McMann (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has withdrawn from UFC Fight Night 27, and the UFC currently is seeking a replacement opponent for Sarah Kaufman (16-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC).
Multiple sources close to the promotion today informed MMA Junkie McMann was forced to withdraw from the fight for undisclosed reasons.
You'd have to assume it was an injury that forced McMann out, but it's not clear at this point. The former Olympic silver-medalist in wrestling made her UFC debut earlier this year, picking up a TKO win over Sheila Gaff. Kaufman has yet to debut in the promotion, with her last fight and win coming in Invicta back in April.
Hopefully they're able to find a replacement for Kaufman so she doesn't have to wait even longer to debut.
