Roland Delorme vs. Alex Caceres set for UFC 165

USA TODAY Sports

Two exciting bantamweights from two different seasons of TUF will meet in Toronto, Canada this fall, as Roland Delorme fights Alex Caceres on the preliminary card of UFC 165. The UFC formally announced the bout by adding it to the official event page.

Delorme (9-1, 1 NC) turned in an entertaining performance against Edwin Figueroa at UFC 161 and won a unanimous decision. His no contest was actually a KO loss to Francisco Rivera at UFC 149, but luckily Rivera failed his drug test thus wiping out the loss. The TUF 14 alum otherwise has won his other 3 UFC fights and looks to make it 4 next month.

Caceres (8-5, 1 NC), of TUF 12 fame, is returning from suspension after testing positive for marijuana in March, which made his win over Kyung Ho Kang a no contest. Regardless, he's undefeated in his last 3 fights and was unlucky to lose a split decision to Edwin Figueroa at UFC 143.

UFC 165 is now complete with 13 fights, including two title fights (Jon Jones/Alexander Gustafsson and Renan Barao/Eddie Wineland) plus a key lightweight clash between Pat Healy and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
