It's easy to think that the UFC is moving all of their Fight Night shows to Brazil. They've got cards lined up for September, October, and November in the South American country, and when I saw that Lyoto Machida was fighting Tim Kennedy on November 6th I thought to myself, "Which part of Brazil is Fort Campbell?". Turns out Fort Campbell is in Kentucky, and this card is actually the UFC's 3rd edition of "Fight For The Troops". Lyoto Machida is dropping to middleweight for the first time in his career, and he'll face U.S Army member Tim Kennedy in the main event.
There's no official co-main event as it's early days, but there are more than a few quality fights already targeted for the show. Jorge Masvidal takes on suplex threat Rustam Khabilov, Dennis Bermudez battles Nik Lentz, Lorenz Larkin meets Chris Camozzi, and Michael Chiesa welcomes Colton Smith to the lightweight division.
Here's what the card looks like so far:
Lyoto Machida vs. Tim Kennedy
Dennis Bermudez vs. Nik Lentz
Jorge Masvidal vs. Rustam Khabilov
Francisco Rivera vs. George Roop
Chris Camozzi vs. Lorenz Larkin
Michael Chiesa vs. Colton Smith
Neil Magny vs. Seth Baczynski
Ronny Markes vs. Yoel Romero
