You can add one more fight to the UFC's expanding lineup for its Fight Night card in Manchester, England. Bantamweights Rosi Sexton and Jessica Andrade will take part in the first UFC women's fight in Europe. The UFC confirmed the matchup earlier today on Twitter:
Sexton (13-3) put forth a very good effort against Alexis Davis at UFC 161 but ultimately lost a unanimous decision to the Canadian. The 36-year-old Brit is more suited for the flyweight division (which the UFC currently does not have) but definitely proved she is a tough outing for some of the top women's 135ers.
Andrade (9-3) was signed by the UFC to replace Miesha Tate against Liz Carmouche at UFC on Fox 8. The Brazilian was mounted and TKOed after Carmouche delivered several unanswered punches and elbows in the 2nd round. At just 21 years old she is the youngest woman on the UFC's roster.
UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Munoz airs live on Fox Sports 2 (formerly Fuel TV) at 3 PM ET on October 26th. Ross Pearson and Melvin Guillard take co-main event honors in the UFC's return to Manchester.
