Conor McGregor is proving to be adept at a few things. The Irish featherweight has proven his skills in the cage with two solid wins in the UFC thus far, and has also shown that he can express a wide variety of opinions in a single 140-character tweet. He did so last night, giving one word descriptions of the UFC featherweight champion and his top 10 challengers according to the UFC rankings. Here's the tweet:
Most of them you can probably figure out for yourself, but I need to fill some space anyway, so here's who he's talking about. Champ Jose Aldo is "safe". Chad Mendes and Frankie Edgar are apparently bantamweights according to McGregor. "Nobody cares" about Ricardo Lamas. Cub Swanson and Dennis Siver are "old". Chan Sung Jung is "open", whatever that means. Dustin Poirier is a "PeaHead", which is undoubtedly the most amusing one on the list. Clay Guida and Nik Lentz are both "boring". And Erik Koch is a question mark.
I've never quite seen anyone break down a division like that, and it's pretty amusing. I certainly don't agree with some of it, but he does make certain points that hit the nail on the head. What do you think of McGregor's thoughts on the division?
