It didn't take long for the UFC's Manchester event to fill up. Two more fights have been added to the October 26th card, as TUF: The Smashes welterweight runner-up Bradley Scott fights Michael Kuiper, while TUF 17's Luke Barnett will face Andrew Craig. The UFC confirmed both middleweight bouts earlier today:
Scott (8-2) lost to Australia's Robert Whittaker in the TUF: The Smashes final, which also snapped his 6 fight winning streak in professional competition. While TUFers normally move down in weight after the show, he's doing the reverse and moving up to middleweight. Kuiper (12-2) is coming off a tough submission loss to Tom Lawlor in April, and the Dutchman is just 1-2 in the UFC.
Barnatt (6-0) was the #1 overall pick on TUF 17, but his run was stopped short when Dylan Andrews KO'd him in the quarterfinals. He extended his unbeaten professional record in the season finale with a decision win over castmate Collin Hart. Craig (9-1) bounced back from a loss to Ronny Markes by beating Chris Leben at UFC 162, improving his UFC record to 3-1.
UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Munoz airs live on Fox Sports 2, and also features Ross Pearson/Melvin Guillard in the co-main event, John Lineker/Phil Harris in the flyweight division, and Ryan Jimmo/Jimi Manuwa at 205 lbs.
