Late last month, it was announced by Sylvester Stallone that UFC women's bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey will have her first acting gig as part of Expendables 3. Filming for the popular action movie hasn't started yet, but the charismatic MMA star already has another high profile movie lined up for her.
Following in the footsteps of the former face of women's MMA in Gina Carano, Rousey will now be part of the 7th installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to twitter to officially welcomed her:
Carano was part of Fast 6, but since she won't be able to reprise her role (Spoiler: she died), Rousey will likely be the only MMA fighter on the line up as she joins action star Jason Statham as some of the new additions to the cast.
