Even though the fight just played out, the odds are still leaning the same way for a possible rematch between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman as they were the first time. The rematch, which has not yet been announced, has had a betting line issued from a few sites and Silva is still a favorite (via BestFightOdds):
The line is closer than it was the first time around, where Anderson closed anywhere from -220 to -295. 5Dimes and SportBet opened the Silva at -140, while Sportbook opened him at -180. Curiously, SportBet has moved slightly towards Weidman while the Sportbook odds already have Silva at -200. I'm sure there will be a fair bit of change over the next 48 hours, or when the bout is officially announced.
Weidman won the first bout over Silva by second-round knockout last weekend at UFC 162 in Las Vegas.
