UFC Middleweight Vitor Belfort has already made it clear that he doesn't want to fight at 185 pounds again unless it's for the title, but he's got an idea for in the meantime. Ariel Helwani reported last night on Fuel TV's UFC Tonight that Belfort would love to face Chael Sonnen in a catchweight bout.
For his part Sonnen, who faces Mauricio "Shogun" Rua in a Light Heavyweight bout on August 17 in Boston at UFC Fight Night 26, likes the idea but wants the bout to take place at UFC 168. He'd also like the winner to get a shot at the title.
Anderson Silva, of course, will be trying to reclaim the MW title from Chris Weidman on that card.
What do you think? Would the winner of a Sonnen/Belfort bout be a worthy title challenger?
