Stephan Bonnar calls out Tito Ortiz for recent remarks

We all know by now that the UFC Hall of Fame isn't truly representative of the best MMA has to offer. While some of the guys in there are the best of all time, others are in there simply for helping to build the UFC. Stephan Bonnar is one of those men. His bout with Forrest Griffin at the first Ultimate Fighter Finale paved the way for the UFC's success, and he was rewarded for his efforts despite an average record and two steroid suspensions.

A little bit before Bonnar was inducted into the HOF at the UFC 162 fan expo, fellow Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz said he thinks it's fair to put Griffin in because he was a champ, but not Bonnar. Tito was actually pretty respectful about it:

"Forrest deserves it. He beat me, and he beat some other really good guys. He was a world champion. He had some great fights. I think he deserves it. As far as Stephan, I have nothing against the guy, but you've got to be a world champion, I think, to be in the Hall of Fame."

So just before the induction, Bonnar was asked what he thought of Tito's comments in the video above.

I'm just gonna call it like it is, I'm gonna help him out. We all know he's broke. We know Jenna took all his money. You know, Punishment Clothing, the only people I see wearing that nowadays are homeless people. The management company, you know - not making any money there. So I'm gonna help the poor guy get paid.

Tito has been hinting about a comeback lately, but I'd be surprised if these two ever met in the cage. Very surprised.
