If you needed a good laugh to close out your Friday, UFC featherweight Cody McKenzie is here to provide it. He just defeated Leonard Garcia last Saturday at UFC 159, improving his record to 3-3 with the organization. This is clearly grounds for calling out current lightweight contender Josh Thomson. Here are a series of tweets directed at Thomson.
Thomson had merely one reply to this:
This is not the first time McKenzie has called out a top UFC fighter. When Frankie Edgar announced a drop to featherweight, McKenzie wanted to fight him at UFC on Fox 5.
There's really not much more to add, other than McKenzie implying that he wants to return to lightweight.
