After winning his first three fights in the UFC, Light Heavyweight Glover Teixeira met James Te Huna at UFC 160. Te Huna was coming off a win over Ryan Jimmo and was 5-1 in the UFC, but this was Glover's night to shine. He picked up a quick submission win over Te Huna to move to 4-0 in the organization. The finish came at 2:38 of the first round.
Glover took over early looking for the single leg, but Te Huna denied the attempt. Both fighters decided trading in the clinch was their best bet before Glover took the takedown. Then as he got back to their feet and clinched up, Glover took advantage of the situation and grabbed a guillotine to end the fight.
The win is another step up the ladder for Teixeira (21-2), and earned him a bonus for submission of the night.
