Cauliflower ear is one of the more common byproducts of grappling. There are the more famous ones such as Randy Couture's ear that was featured on ESPN the Magazine, or the balloon ear of James Thompson that Kimbo Slice popped during their 2008 bout (which is still one of the most watched fights in MMA history).
Today, another more gruesome iteration of these traumatized ears is floating the web after UFC middleweight and long time Judo practitioner, Hector Lombard posted a photo of his nasty stitched up ear. Check out the tweet below, but don't say I didn't warn you because this may ruin your appetite:
Lombard is currently partnered up with Mike Dolce and will be looking to shore up his diet for a possible drop down to 170 lbs. The former Bellator champ is currently 1-2 with the UFC with losses to Tim Boetsch and Yushin Okami.
