The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale went down tonight at The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event featured top Bantamweights Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen facing off. Faber got off to a good start early, but looked to be losing the fight heading into the later rounds. He came back, though, hitting a doubleleg takedown and going right for the kill to lock in the rear naked choke to win the fight.
Before that, Uriah Hall and Kelvin Gastelum battled to decide who would be this season's winner. Gastelum wasn't intimidated by the hype Hall had coming into the event and pulled off the big upset. It was a close split decision victory, but his wrestling made the difference in two judges' eyes.
The UFC's second ever women's Bantamweight fight stole the show with incredible action. Miesha Tate looked to win early when she locked on a tight armbar, but Cat Zingano persevered. She took dominant position in the final round then finished the fight with brutal knees to the head to get the TKO.
Check out what the fighters and UFC president Dana White have to say about the event at the post-fight press conference. The full video will be posted later tonight.
