Jorgensen recovered from a 2 fight skid with a first round submission over John Albert prior to meeting Faber.

Jorgensen ducked under Urijah's punches early, but found himself defending a front headlock. He reversed and put Faber's back against the fence, then gave up a takedown of his own. Not a lot of damaging blows early until Faber landed a big knee to the body. Jorgensen gave up his back and Urijah locked in a body triangle. Faber mixed up strikes and choke attemps from dominant position to finish the round.

round 3 looked a lot like round 2, except Jorgensen started to get the better of the exchanges. He started landing more punches and even got Faber down a couple times. In the closing seconds of the round, Faber exploded for a double leg and immediately took back control. He didn't have any time to do anything with it before the bell rang.

Striking from range again in round 4 with Jorgensen landing the better shots. He tried to get inside for the clinch a couple times but Urijah shrugged him off. Power double leg from Urijah and he transitioned right to the back. Jorgensen was slow to defend the choke and he paid for it once the rear naked was locked in.

Urijah Faber submitted Scott Jorgense with a rear naked choke at 3:16 of Round 4.
