This Saturday night, March 30, Bloody Elbow presents live fight night coverage of HBO Boxing After Dark. The night's featured fight is a much anticipated rematch as Brandon Rios (31-0-1; 23 KOs) faces Mike Alvarado (33-1; 23 KOs). HBO Boxing After Dark Rios vs. Alvarado II airs this Saturday night, March 30 at 10:15 p.m. ET. Bloody Elbow will have live fight night coverage, including results and discussion.
Rios and Alvarado first stepped into the ring together in October of last year. The result was an absolutely incredible war - a slugfest that stood proudly alongside Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez as one of the very best fights of 2012. Rios won that fight via round 7 TKO, handing Alvarado the first loss of his career. Now, they are set to rematch. It seems unfair to expect another classic from these two, but given each man's style, it's certainly a very real possibility.
