World Series of Fighting 2 betting lines: Arlovski and Johnson even

Esther Lin/Strikeforce

World Series of Fighting returns with their second card this weekend in Atlantic City, and betting lines have dropped for most of their big matchups. As expected in a new organization, most bouts are fairly close. Here's a look at the odds (via BestFightOdds):

The main event is dead even, and that's not a surprising thing. If you're still thinking of Anthony Johnson as a welterweight, that it seems obvious that you'd want to bet on Andrei Arlovski. But he's not (he said he's coming in at 235), and Andrei's infamous chin always makes betting on him very hard. In fact, I'll be staying far away from that fight.

The co-main event is a little more interesting. Both Tyson Nam and Marlon Moraes are coming off huge wins (Nam over Bellator champ Eduardo Dantas, Moraes over former WEC champ Miguel Torres), but I think Moraes brings more to the table overall. If Nam had more of a submission game I'd be leaning towards him, but I think Moraes can handle him on the feet and take a decision. -160 isn't the best price ever and I probably wouldn't bet on him any lower than that, but there's not a lot of value here otherwise.

As bad as this is, I'll probably bet on David Branch around -200 as well. Paulo Filho reportedly had a panic attack before he boarded his flight earlier this week, and doesn't seem to have his troubles behind him as of yet.
