Rony Jason will once again be fighting in front of his home fans. The FW champion of TUF: Brazil will be on the finale of the 2nd TUF Brazil finale, as he fights TUF: The Smashes alum Mike Wilkinson. SporTV initially reported this bout, but the UFC has not yet made it official.
Jason (12-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC) took the TUF: Brazil crown when he defeated Godofredo Pepey by decision at UFC 147. His first post-TUF fight came last October at UFC 153 against TUF 15's Sam Sicilia, with Jason winning by 2nd round TKO.
Wilkinson (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) won his opening fight on TUF: The Smashes, but an injury forced him off the show. The UFC still offered him a spot on the show's finale (UFC on FX 6), and he earned his roster spot with a unanimous decision win over Brendan Loughnane. He is now dropping to featherweight to face Jason.
UFC on Fuel 10 (AKA TUF Brazil 2 Finale) is on June 8th in Fortaleza, Brazil. Season 2 coaches Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum headline the card.
