Tonight, join us for week 8 of UFC's The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen. TUF airs at 9 p.m. ET tonight on FX. As always, we'll have live discussion here on Bloody Elbow.
This week's fight sees the last two contestants finally step into the ring. Representing Team Sonnen will be Chael Sonnen #3 pick Zak Cummings. He takes on Team Jones representative Dylan Andrews, the #7 pick for Jon Jones, and last fighter picked overall. Andrews is the definite underdog here - we'll see if he can pull off the upset.
Also this week is the coaches challenge, which involves Sonnen and Jones driving excavators. Perhaps an excavator vs. excavator death match on top of a building? One can only dream. Let's hope no one puts in as poor a performance as Roy Nelson last time.
Finally, the coaches will decide who earns the wildcard spots for next week's fight. Bubba McDaniel seems like an easy pick for Team Jones given his higher profile this season - not sure who from Team Sonnen will get the call.
