More than any other point in his career, Mauricio Rua had his back against the wall at UFC Fight Night 33 in Brisbane, Australia. A loss to James Te Huna and he was essentially irrelevant at 205 lbs. For what was once considered to be the greatest light heavyweight on the planet and a fighter still very much in his athletic prime at 32, it would have been a hard pill to swallow for the Pride Grand Prix Champion.
Check out the highlights from Shogun's battle with Te Huna at on December 7th (or 6th for those of us in the states) right here on Bloody Elbow and be sure to stick around for all the post fight coverage and all the pre fight news for UFC on Fox 9.
