The UFC has started to add more fights to their Brazil Fight Night in February. The latest one is a rare Brazilian vs. Brazilian fight in the bantamweight division. UFC News has you covered:

Alcantara (28-5) had an up-and-down 2013 after a drop to the bantamweight division. He started it off by going to a No Contest with Pedro Nobre due to some overzealous punches to the back of the head on Alcantara's part. He followed that with a TKO win over Iliarde Santos, but was given a huge step up in competition at UFC Fight Night 26 when he faced Urijah Faber. He did well in the first but ended up dropping a unanimous decision to the former 145-pound champ.

Alcantara is 3-2 (1 NC) in the UFC overall. Reis (17-4), a former EliteXC champ, made his UFC debut on short notice at UFC 165, where he upset Ivan Menjivar with a decision win. He is currently on a four-fight winning streak.

It's currently unclear where this bout will fall on the February 15th card in Jaragua do Sul. UFC Fight Night 36 will be headlined by a middleweight fight between Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi.
