Saturday December 14, Bloody Elbow presents live fight coverage of Adrien Broner vs. Marcos Maidana. Showtime Boxing Broner vs. Maidana airs live on Showtime this Saturday, December 14, with a fight time of 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here.
2013 has been a pretty fantastic year for boxing fans, and so it is fighting that the last major network fight of the year is another barnburner. Broner vs. Maidana is, simply put, a tremendous fight. The young, arrogant Broner has had a big year that has seen both his star and his spot in the rankings rise. He is a fighter on the cusp of real superstardom, yet still some questions remain as to just how talented this self-professed best in the world really is. On the other side, you have Marcos Maidana, a quieter fighter outside the ring, but another man who has had a strong year with his thrilling win over Josesito Lopez. A powerful puncher, Maidana has shown that he is always in the fight and is very hard to put away. Broner is the favorite, but one misstep here could mean the end of his undefeated run.

Also on the card, the always exciting Leo Santa Cruz continues his impressive run as he takes on Cesar Seda, and Beibut Shumenov faces Tamas Kovacs.
