Today, Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios take to the scales for the official fight weigh-in. The weigh-ins are available in a live stream, right here and begin at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT. This fight is at Welterweight, and both fighters will need to come in at 147 pounds. Weigh-ins will also be available to watch on HBO.
Had you asked me what to expect from the weigh-ins a week ago, I would have said they were likely to be pretty uneventful. Pacquiao and Rios have been very chummy throughout the extended press build to the fight, with their photos looking more like buddies out on the town than upcoming opponents. But that changed this week when Pacquiao head trainer Freddie Roach got into a physical altercation with Rios's camp, led by Alex Ariza. It was an intense moment that has added a big question mark to this promotional event. It will be interesting to see how each camp responds at this event.
Manny Pacquiao (145) vs. Brandon Rios (146.5) - Welterweight (147 lbs)
Evgeny Gradovich (125.75) vs. Billy Dib (126) - Featherweight (126 lbs)
