The UFC announced yesterday that Light Heavyweight Joey Beltran failed a post-fight drug test following his UFC on FX 6 in over Igor Pokrajac. Beltran came up positive for the banned substance nandrolone and will be suspended for nine months. The test was conducted by the promotion in the absence of an Australian governing body that regulates the sport.
Beltran took to Twitter to respond:
Looks like he's taking the old, "must've had something bad in my supplements and not realized it" defense.
