A light heavyweight slugfest has been added to UFC 154 on November 17th in Montreal. Cyrille Diabate was originally scheduled to face Fabio Maldonado on the card, but Maldonado was moved to UFC 153 to face off with Glover Teixeira. Instead, Diabate will meet a former Strikeforce heavyweight that's making the drop to 205 for the first time (via UFC Canada's twitter):
Diabate (18-8-1) is 3-2 in the UFC overall, and has alternated wins and losses since his debut. His coming off a majority decision win over Tom DeBlass at UFC on Fuel 2. Griggs (11-2) made his UFC debut against Travis Browne at UFC 145, but was choked out in the first round. He was scheduled to make his light heavyweight debut against Phil Davis at UFC on Fox 4, but suffered an injury and had to bow out. He's apparently healthy now though, and will be looking to throw down with the French muay thai specialist in a couple of months.
