Good news kickboxing fans - if you missed last weekend's K-1 US Grand Prix Championship in Los Angeles, K-1 has you covered. The entire event is now available, for free, thanks to K-1.
The show originally aired Saturday night on a live stream at Spike.com, and cost $10. I said after the event that I thought it was a bit of a missed opportunity, as the fighters delivered a tremendously fun evening of fights, but the $10 charge and some early stream issues may have driven some potential fans away. Now, K-1 is turning that opportunity around with the free stream. It's a very smart, very customer friendly decision on their part, and I'm glad they are giving their fighters the chance to reach a wider audience.
Even if you're not a kickboxing fan, I urge you to check the show out. There were great fights, crazy highlight reel KOs, and an overall fun atmosphere to the whole thing.
