UFC on Fox is scheduled for August 4th in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and has suffered the same fate as many of the UFC's other summer cards. The main event was originally scheduled to see former Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard take on Brian Stann, but a Stann injury forced some major changes. To beef up the starpower, former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua was moved to the card to take on Brandon Vera in the main event. The co-main is another top light heavyweight bout, with Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader facing off with former champ Lyoto Machida. The heavyweight bout between Travis Browne and Ben Rothwell has been scratched.
