Seriously, will it ever end? UFC 149 has already been devastated by injuries and card changes, and yet another main card fight is now off. Siyar Bahadurzada was expected to face off with Chris Clements at UFC 149, but it will now be a different welterweight facing off with the Canadian. The UFC tweeted about it late last night:
Riddle (6-3) picked up a close split-decision win over Henry Martinez at UFC 143, which put a stop to a two-fight losing streak. It's unknown at this point if the fight will remain on the main card or not.
The evolution of this bout has been nothing short of amazing. Way back in the day, it was Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Thiago Alves. Akiyama went down with a torn ACL, and Bahadurzada stepped up. Then Alves tore a pec, and Clements stepped in. Now Bahaduzada is out and it's Riddle vs. Clements. Crazy.
