The UFC on Fox 4 card scheduled for August 4th has been filling up fast, and the UFC has added three more bouts to the card. Two involve guys returning from long layoffs, and the third features two featherweights that need a win badly. UFC.com has the news:
Fan favorite Mike "Quick" Swick, who's battled a barrage of illnesses and injuries, will make his UFC return after more than two years against fellow welterweight and TUF alum DaMarques "Darkness" Johnson Saturday August 4 at the Staples Center.
Josh Grispi also returns to the Octagon for the first time since June of 2011 that same night to face Pablo Garza. Once on the doorstep of a featherweight title berth, Grispi is looking to work his way up the ranks once more, but he will have to get past the durable Garza. Both fighters have the ability to end a fight in the blink of an eye.
In more 145-pound action in LA., Nam Phan will take on Cole Miller.
Swick (14-4) last fought back in February of 2010 when he was submitted by Paulo Thiago. Johnson (16-10) dropped his last bout to John Maguire at UFC on Fuel 2 in April. Grispi (14-3) and Garza (11-3) are both on two-fight losing streaks. Phan (17-10) is just 1-3 in the UFC thus far, and Miller (18-6) dropped his featherweight debut to underdog Steven Siler in February.
All the bout are expected to take place on the preliminary card.
