Preliminary card fighters taking home the lion's share of performance bonus money is becoming quite the trend nowadays. For the third card in a row, fighters from the Facebook and Fuel TV portions of the card got rich with T.J. Waldburger, Tim Elliott, and Jared Papazian being handed $40,000 checks for what they did in the cage.
Papazian and Elliott took home fight of the night, while Waldburger picked up the submission of the night. Main card fighter Pat Barry picked up the knockout of the night for his finish of Shane del Rosario.
The KOTN award had a few guys in the running, with Hugo Viana, Mike Pyle, Rustam Khalibov and Johnny Bedford all finishing impressively. In the end though, it went to Barry, who destroyed Del Rosario with punches that would have knocked damn near anyone out cold.
Attendance at the Hard Rock tonight was 2500, and the gate totaled $318,525.
