The doctors in Washington state were taking no chances after last weekend's UFC on Fox 5 card in Seattle. No less than nine fighter received indefinite suspensions, though they can all be cleared by a doctor early and none look to be that serious. Amongst those suspended "indefinitely" include UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz, light heavyweight winner Alexander Gustafsson, B.J. Penn, and Jeremy Stephens. B.J. Penn: suspended indefinitely, though a doctor can clear him early; regardless, suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days

Yves Edwards: suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days
Raphael Assuncao: suspended indefinitely, though an orthopedic doctor can clear him early; regardless, suspended seven days
