- Thiago Silva's only other submission win in the UFC was actually a strikes stoppage vs. Antonio Mendes. This marks his first SOTN win.
- Cung Le has fought just 3 times in the UFC but he's picked up a bonus in 2 of them. The KO against Rich Franklin is now added to his FOTN with Wanderlei Silva.
