Pascal Krauss Forced Out of UFC 138 With Injury

German welterweight Pascal Krauss has been forced out of his UFC 138 fight with John Hathaway due to injury. The bout had been expected to take place on the main card of the event. Sherdog brings the news:

One month after recovering from a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder -- the same injury which has sidelined UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez for the past 10 months -- the 24-year-old Freiburg native has suffered a dislocated acromioclavicular (AC) joint in his left shoulder during preparation for his bout against Englishman John Hathaway at UFC 138 on Nov. 5.

Although the new shoulder injury will not require surgery, "Panzer" will have to stay in the garage for the next six to eight weeks, making a proper preparation for Hathaway impossible.

Krauss (10-0) won his UFC debut on home soil over Mark Scanlon back at UFC 122 in November. He has been out with a torn rotator cuff since then. The 24-year-old has only gone to decision once in 10 career fights. No replacement fighter has been named yet.
