Jon Jones Responds to Spying Accusations From Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones uses twitter a lot, and decided to use the social networking platform to respond to spying accusations leveled at him and his camp by his UFC 135 opponent Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Yesterday, Jackson made it known that he believed he had a spy in his camp. He spread word of a fake injury amongst his camp, and four hours later, Jones' agent Malki Kawa called UFC matchmaker Joe Silva to talk about it. Kawa says he read about the injury on twitter and there is no spy. Today, Jones felt the need to defend himself from any accusations. Here is what he had to say:

@Rampage4real Just so you know, I'm not a person who looks for shortcuts in life. Unlike you, MMA is not something I do because of money.less than a minute ago via web Jon Bones Jones

It's a way of life for me and I would never disrespect the integrity of that.less than a minute ago via web Jon Bones Jones

I have way more faith in myself, as well as, respect for the art of fighting to ever stoop that low, thats just bad karma.less than a minute ago via web Jon Bones Jones

Believe me or not, I've said my part.. hoping you have a safe and healthy finish to your camp.. #Respectless than a minute ago via web Jon Bones Jones

Jones starts off with a shot, the gradually works his way back to a respectful finish. Rampage hasn't responded yet, but you can be sure he'll have a retort pretty soon. Stay tuned.
