The UFC has been gobbling up a bunch of bantamweight fighters lately, and they announced the signing of two more today. San Diego fighter Walel Watson will face off with Shark Fights regular Joseph Sandoval at UFC on Versus 6 on October 1st. The fight is the third bantamweight matchup announced for the card so far. The UFC announced it via their twitter feed today:

The 5'11 Watson has primarily competed in Tijuana, Mexico-based events in his career, and is currently 8-2. He has also competed once in Tachi Palace Fights, where he was TKO'd by Cody Gibson in May. The 25-year-old Sandoval is undefeated at 6-0, and has finished three of those wins. He trains with Team Bighead out of Lubbock, TX with Eric Davila. One of them is the main event, which features UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz defending his title against Demetrious Johnson.
