UFC welterweight Claude Patrick took a unanimous decision (29-28x3) over Daniel Roberts at UFC 129.
What was the high spot of this fight?
I'd say the moment the final bell buzzed and ended this ugly, hard-fought contest was the high point. Your mileage may vary.
Where do these guys go from here?
Patrick improves to 3-0 in the UFC. In the murderous UFC 170lb division, that probably means its time for him to fight in a contention-eliminator bout. Someone like Jake Ellenberger who also won at UFC 129 could be the perfect step up in competition for Patrick.
Roberts had racked up three straight wins over the bottom rung of UFC welterweights before losing to Patrick. I expect he'll get a chance to get back on track against comparable competition.
Watch it now, later, or never?
If you're not on Claude Patrick's Christmas Card list I think you can safely skip this one.
