Mike Pierce (11-3, 3-1 UFC) welcomes UFC newcomer Kenny Robertson (10-0, 0-0 UFC) in a welterweight tilt that will begin the unaired undercard portion of UFC 126.

How do these guys stack up?
Pierce: 30 years old, 5'8"
Robertson: 26 years old, 5'10"

What have they done lately?

Pierce: W - Amilcar Alves (Submission) UFC 118 W- Julio Paulino (Decision) UFC on Versus 1 L - Jon Fitch Decision UFC 107

Robertson: W - John Kolosci (Submission) Bellator Fighting Championships 25 W - Igor Almeida (TKO) Maximo Fighting Championship W - Gerald Meerschaert (Submission) Madtown Throwdown 19

How did these guys get here?

Pierce fought 10 times before joining the UFC, going 8-2. He upset Brock Larson in his UFC debut, gave top contender Jon Fitch a scare at UFC 107 and has since won two straight.

Robertson is an undefeated UFC rookie who fought last on a Bellator undercard in August. He's won five of his fights with strikes and four with submission hold, only going to decision once.

Why should you care?

Pierce is one or two big wins away from breaking out of the pack in the UFC's murderous welterweight division. He's already derailed the career of the once-ranked Brock Larson and gone blow-for-blow with the mighty Jon Fitch.
