The famously awkward Keith Jardine came out firing and throwing off the less experienced Bader off his aggressive game a bit. With about three minutes to go, Bader caught Jardine with a very slick take down and put Jardine on his back. Bader maintained top control and landed with punches and elbows. A bloodied Jardine worked from 1/2 guard. Then Jardine reestablished guard and forced a stand up. Jardine scored with a right as they traded then fired a low kick as the round ended.

In the second round, Jardine scored with more leg kicks before Bader shot in. Jardine fought it off. On the feet Jardine forced more of the awkward exchanges he's known for. Bader shot again only to get stuffed. Bader kneed in the clinch. Back on the feet, Jardine lurched forward firing punches. That forced another Bader shoot, but Jardine easily stuffed that too. Bader landed a flying kick towards the end of the round but fell in the throwing. He nearly took Jardine down again with seconds left but failed again.

Jardine came out circling in the final frame. Bader forced a clinch but couldn't maintain it. Then Jardine fired with leg kicks and lunging punches. Bader slammed Jardine down with about 3:30 left, but Jardine was back up instantly. Bader then tagged Jardine with a right hand out of no where. He followed that with a flying knee to the body and a hard left to the face that dropped Jardine.
