Report: Fedor Emelianenko vs Antonio Silva Expected at Strikeforce on January 29

Scott Coker just can't resist that smile!

Since Fedor Emelianenko's shocking submission loss to Fabricio Werdum this summer, Strikeforce boss Scott Coker has been trying to get him back in the cage. Werdum and Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem were both much discussed as potential opponents for the enigmatic Russian, but it was not to be. Contract re-negotiations with M-1 Global drug on and on for the rest of the year.

Now there are claims that a resolution is very near at hand. MMA Weekly has the skinny:

It appears Fedor Emelianenko and M-1 Global have come to an agreement to return to the Strikeforce cage, and the former top heavyweight is in discussions to meet Antonio Silva on the Jan 29 card.
...
