The right hand from Henderson put Bisping down, but the Brit is not out.
After suffering his first KO defeat and the most significant loss of his career at UFC 100, Michael "The Count" Bisping rebounded to defeat American Top Team's Denis Kang.
The win by no means came easy. An aggressive Bisping caught a clean right hand on the jaw that dropped the Brit to the canvas in the first. From there Kang worked a series of passes eventually achieving mount and landing some vicious ground and pound. A game Bisping refused to give up, however, and regained full guard before the round expired.
Round two was a very different story. Bisping wisely decided not to exchange with Kang, taking down to the floor with authority on a modified single. From there it was a ground and pound blitzkrieg. Kang eventually got back to his feet, but more takedowns led to more punishment on the floor. Bisping smelled blood and continued to give Kang a beating until the fight was called.
Referee Dan Mirgliotta stopped the bout at 4:24 of the second round, giving Michael Bisping the TKO/ref stoppage win.
