One thing went through my mind after Georges St. Pierre's awesome interview after destroying Matt Hughes: The man isn't just the future of the UFC in terms of fighting style, but he may be the next mega star they've been waiting for.
Chuck Liddell made himself a superstar by winning 7 straight fights in convincing fashion, and by coaching the first Ultimate Fighter. Georges St. Pierre may be on the cusp of a similar run. I think he is going to crush Matt Serra, and once he does, there are a line of good fights available, but nobody jumps out as a big threat.
In a lot of ways, Georges is a better face for the company than Chuck. He doesn't come off as aloof, he has good looks for TV, and he really fights in a way that shows off everything great about MMA.
