A Handful of former UFC fighters shed their gloves for BKFC 28

The squared circle returns, when BKFC 28 lands in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday August 27. Topping off the evening will be a flyweight title fight between Christine Ferea (5-1 BKFC) and Taylor Starling (3-0 BKFC).

Both women have been on fire as of late, as they are each riding high on a 3 fight win streak. Ferea's run includes 2 KO's, and a unanimous decision win over Britain Hart that earned her the vacant flyweight strap. Starling has quickly proven she's no joke, as her unbeaten streak in BKFC has earned her a shot at gold.

A handful of notable former UFC fighters shed their gloves, as the crossover from MMA to bare knuckle continues to grow. Veteran John Dodson is set to take on fellow UFC alumni Ryan Benoit. Both flyweights are making their BKFC debut, and the co-main bout is expected to be insanely entertaining.

Isaac Vallie-Flagg (2-1 BKFC) is not done just yet. The 44 year old New Mexico native is back for one more scrap. Vallie-Flagg is expected to take on Ryan Kelly (2-1 BKFC). Kelly's coming off a quick nights work, after finishing Stanislav Grosu in June of this year. Vallie-Flagg on the other hand, is coming off a devastating loss to Luis Palomino. The 45 second ko loss to now champion Palomino was originally to be his last fight.
