Is it journalism? Is it fight analysis? Is it a comedy show? Is it art?

Try all of the above.

In all my years of watching combat sports, I have never come across a podcast/talk show more unique than Morning Kombat. This MMA/Boxing podcast is perfect for both casual and hardcore combat sports fans, and does an excellent job of tailoring their program to both demographics. Are you new to combat sports and looking for someone to help guide your fandom? Morning Kombat is for you. Are you a longtime hardcore fan looking for two guys who share your passion? Morning Kombat is for you. If you love combat sports in any way, shape, or form, look no further than Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell.

The Hosts

Morning Kombat is co-hosted by Luke Thomas and Brian "BC" Campbell, a dynamic duo unlike anything you've ever seen when it comes to MMA/Boxing podcasts. Luke is MMA analyst by trade, but has also worked as a journalist and radio host for various media outlets in the past. BC is more of a boxing analyst in his own right, who also has a credentialed history of working as a writer/journalist. Both men have worked as color commentators in the past.

Despite being fundamentally different people on the surface, Luke and BC work tremendously well together when it comes to creating content. Their ability to bounce ideas off one another is second to none, and their on-screen chemistry is hilariously entertaining. Luke's undying integrity regularly collides with BC's undying need to make dick jokes, but it is all done in the name of making a better show for their fans. Both men are funny, knowledgeable, and clearly share a remarkable love for combat sports. This is their passion...and that's the spirit they bring to the show.

What is Morning Kombat?

As previously mentioned, this is a combat sports show that focuses heavily on MMA and boxing. However, they do much more than just chat about current events.

Morning Kombat airs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11am (eastern time), which gives our hosts several hours on a weekly basis to cover the hottest topics, fighters, and storylines across the entire world of combat sports. Morning Kombat is a show that truly bridges the gap between thoughtful fight analysis and outrageous entertainment. In addition to their weekly episodes that preview upcoming fights and tackle major developments, Luke and BC also do special guest interviews, amusing segments, take questions from fans, and much more (it would be impossible for me to explain everything they do, so you might as well just subscribe already and see for yourself). Morning Kombat even has its own documentary series, with the second installment receiving regular praise as a "work of art" due to the compelling performance put forth by Brian Campbell. Morning Kombat is honest, down-to-earth, and completely impartial.

What are you waiting for?

If you're a combat sports fan, what the hell are you waiting for? You simply will not find another podcast that covers combat sports as a whole more extensively than Morning Kombat. I'll save you some time by providing you with a link to their YouTube channel here. Go ahead and subscribe now. This show will 100% make you a better combat sports fan.

Morning Kombat has become quite decorated in recent months, capturing the "Best MMA Programming" award at the World MMA Awards, and most recently taking home both the "Best Combat Sports Podcast" and the "Best Sports Podcast" awards at the Sports Podcast Awards. Essentially, Morning Kombat is the current undisputed king of combat sports media.

As the show continues to evolve, I wish Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell the absolute best. Congratulations on capturing the aforementioned awards...because you definitely deserved them for your work.

MK all day, everyday.
