UFC 281 Sponsorship Payouts Totals - Adesanya headlines another big PPV card

UFC 281 unofficial sponsorship payout total - $332,500 paid to 28 fighters.

UFC 281 comes in as the 3rd highest in sponsorship pay in 2022 so far with the highest payout being for UFC 276, $362,500 - also headlined by Adesanya. Of the 6 UFC cards (all PPVs) headlined by Adesanya since the start of 2020, all fall within the top ten in sponsorship payout for their respective year - 4 of the 6 in the top five. In all time sponsorship payouts he has headlined 3 cards in the top 10, all in either 2021 or 2022. With sponsorship payout being tied to fight experience, it seems as though the UFC likes to put higher than usual experienced fighters behind Adesanya.

UFC fighter are paid for following the UFC's promotional guidelines including wearing sponsored promotional attire during fight week. UFC's current sponsorship deal is with Venum that started in April 2021 and was recently renewed.
