The UFC Hall of Famer said he was sucker punched on a night out in New Orleans.

Michael Bisping hasn’t thrown down inside the cage since 2017. And the former UFC middleweight champion seems fine with not fighting at the moment, whether it’s in the Octagon or on the street.

Recently the Hall of Famer took to Twitter to reveal he was assaulted in public while filming in New Orleans, LA. Bisping wrote that an unidentified man had gotten in his face and that, after he told him to leave, he struck the ex-pro in the face.

Bisping wrote that the punch was “so soft” that he laughed in the man’s face. “So funny that someone that acts so tough hits like such a bitch, I laughed and walked away. Man I’m mature these days.”

And it appears as though that phantom puncher has struck again. Yesterday Bisping uploaded a video that he claims shows the man that attacked him sucker-punching someone else.

“This is the same asshole that punched me last week,” wrote Bisping.

In both Bisping’s story and the video he later shared, the man accused of punching first is met with no repercussions. For his sake, let’s hope he doesn’t run into Joe Schilling on the streets of New Orleans anytime soon.

Around the same time Bisping’s initial story of laughing and walking away from a rando hit the internet, Schilling was going viral for knocking a bar patron out cold in a bar.

Schilling would later claim this was an act of self-defense and that the man he struck was yelling racist slurs. Schilling could face a battery charge over that incident.
