Jake Paul has been unbanned from attending his brothers upcoming exhibition boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on June 6 after the YouTube star-turned-boxer was previously banned for stealing ‘TBE’s’ hat during a press conference on May 6.
CEO of Mayweather Productions, Leonard Ellerbe, confirmed on Tuesday that any previous restrictions on Paul attending the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida on June 6 had been lifted and that the 24-year-old was free to attend Logan Paul’s fight.
Ellerbe did add, however, that ‘there’s a price that you got to pay for when you do dumb sh*t,’ referencing Paul’s May 6 brawl with Mayweather. Paul snatched Floyd’s hat after confronting the undefeated boxing legend face-to-face — but he didn’t expect ‘Money’ to react so violently.
Mayweather landed several punches on Paul and even threatened to kill the YouTuber for disrespecting him. Older brother Logan has since increased security over fears Team Mayweather may attack Jake on the street.
Mayweather vs. Paul takes place next month, June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
