UFC 262 fight week is here!
The vacant lightweight title will be at stake on May 15th, when Charles Oliveira takes on former Bellator champion Michael Chandler to see who will replace the retired Khabib Nurmagomedov as the king of the UFC’s 155 lbs division.
Unfortunately, the original co-main event between Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards has been postponed to UFC 263 in June, but the new co-main (which was already on the card) figures to be a banger. Former interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson will look to snap a two-fight losing streak against rising contender Beneil Dariush, who’s in search of the biggest win of his career and perhaps beating ‘El Cucuy’ would be his major push towards his first ever title shot.
As usual, when it’s a pay-per-view week it gets the Countdown treatment. You can watch the full Countdown to UFC 262 video at the top of the page. You get the main event and co-main event over the course of 47 minutes.
UFC 262 takes place at the Toyota Center in Houston (with a full set of fans), with the usual main card start time of 10 PM ET/7 PM PT.
