This weekend the UFC is countering Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren with a battle between former UFC middleweight champ Robert Whittaker and former interim title challenger Kelvin Gastelum. Both men are also former winners of The Ultimate Fighter.

At UFC Vegas 24 the headliner of Whittaker vs. Gastelum is scheduled to be preceded by Jeremy Stephens vs. Drakker Klose and Andrei Arlovski vs. Chase Sherman. The undercard includes the return of former title challenger Jessica Penne, who fights Lupita Godinez, and clash between heavyweights Alexander Romanov and Juan Espino.

Of course, for any of these fights to happen these fighters need to make it through the weigh-in process. That’s never a guarantee in the era of COVID-19.
